Why You Need a Jeep
A 4wd vehicle is needed in order to descend some of the very steep grades. Using low gear prevents break failure. Some areas need high clearance.
We put together a little video to answer this question for yah-
We're hoping a cool custom jeep will make your visit one to remember!
If a vehicle doesn't appear to be available, please email email@example.com and we will try to accommodate your Jeep Rental.

Dale P.March 18, 2020 - "Booking with Joe was an all around great experience. He answered all our questions promptly and was always available for any further questions we had during our trip. The little extras such as chairs and an umbrella that he stored in the Jeep were great extras. The Jeep was well taken care of, clean and a great ride. Thanks Joe for providing such great customer service and making our cruisin the island a memorable and enjoyable experience.!!"
Philip M.March 21, 2020 - "Kona was a great Jeep to drive around the Big Island, well maintained, and plenty capable. Pickup and drop off were more convenient than a conventional rental, and Joe provided us with beach gear, a cooler bag, and reef safe sunscreen. Joe "also provided personal advice that helped us make the most of our vacation. Mahalo
Brandon W.March 23, 202 - "The Jeep was an awesome choice for the Big Island. So glad I rented it. We drove the 40 mile Mana Rd and had a bumpy blast. Joe was super easy to work with. Answered all my questions and had the Jeep waiting for me at the terminal. So convenient! It was great to skip the rigmarole of the typical rental places. Just jumped in and drove away while the other travelers waited in the hot sun for a shuttle bus. Only notes might be, take their advice and get four-door if you have more than two people. We were a couple, so it wasn’t a big deal, but there definitely isn’t much room inside once you put the back seat down. Also, the gas mileage on the Jeep isn’t great and you are going to be doing a lot of fun driving. So make sure you budget for fuel! But you weren’t shopping for a Prius anyway 🙂 Thanks Joe. I’d recommend renting your Jeeps to anyone."
"Lynne X.March 26, 2020" "Great service! Joe was super responsive to messages throughout our stay. The Jeep worked great and was clean and in good condition. And it even got better gas mileage on the long hauls than I was fearing. We filled up the tank in Kona and made it to Volcano (via Hilo) with 1/3 tank left.
"I mentioned I was traveling with a lot of luggage (SCUBA gear) when I spoke with Joe a few days before arrival. The next day he sent a text to tell me he bought and installed a trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier for me to use. His idea not mine and a good one at that. We wouldn't have fit everything otherwise. This was our first time using Turo and everything worked out great. The level of personal service just cant be matched by old time corporate rental agencies."

"Great rental, and easy to pick up and drop off at the airport. Joe was very communicative, easy to reach, and awesome to deal with. Would definitely rent from Joe again!"

What can we say? If it wasn't for Scott and his Jeep our trip to the big island's fun would have easily been cut in half. The vehicle itself was clean and in great shape. Bright red contrasts well with the island colors along with nice mud tires you will receive a lot of smiles & shakas. No "Hey look at me i'm a tourist and i'm renting!" stickers / license plates on this bad boy. Driving Scott's Jeep you are basically the Big Kahuna of the island (at least it feels that way). Having the 4x4 made it so we could get off the beaten path, breaking outside the usual tourist boundaries. Also be respectful of the island and any private property or sacred areas.
Scott is a super nice guy and communicates well, we wouldn't rent from anyone else. Thanks again brother!

"The owner was very kind and incredibly fast in communication. We enjoyed our trip through and through. If you want to drive in the big island, it is the best to rent JEEP from him. Bright red Jeep is going to make your trip unforgettable."
